Erkut Erdem is Deputy CEO of Enexus and a senior energy professional with nearly two decades of experience in electricity markets, energy trading, and portfolio optimization across public and private sector environments.
He began his career within Türkiye’s public electricity generation structure at Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. (EÜAŞ), where he gained hands-on experience in generation planning, system balancing, and market operations. He later transitioned to the private sector, managing trading and portfolio activities across the Day-Ahead, Intraday, and Balancing Power Markets, with a focus on risk management, price forecasting, and commercial optimization
His experience extends to European power markets, including cross-border trading and capacity allocation mechanisms.
With a background in law and software engineering, Erkut combines regulatory insight with technological capability. He develops and integrates digital tools for energy trading, data analytics, and performance optimization, ensuring both compliance and commercial efficiency in complex market environments.
At Enexus, he strengthens the company’s market integration, trading strategy, and digital infrastructure, supporting the delivery of bankable and performance-driven renewable energy projects in Romania.
